Privacy Policy

What information this website collects, why, and how it is handled.

What we collect

This website does not ask visitors to create accounts. The only form that collects personal information is Request a Katha Pravakta. It asks for your name, mobile number, an optional e-mail address, the address of the event, your preferred date and an optional message.

Why we collect it

The information is used only so that the Trust can call you, discuss availability and arrange the Katha you have asked about. Submitting the form does not confirm a booking.

Who can see it

Requests are visible only to authorised administrators of the Trust after they sign in. They are never shown on the public website.

How long we keep it

Requests that have been closed (confirmed, declined or cancelled) are deleted automatically about 12 months after they were made. Open requests are kept until they are closed. You can ask the Trust to delete your request earlier by calling or writing to the contact details on the Contact page.

Technical information

The website uses a session cookie to keep administrators signed in and to protect forms. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To limit spam, a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address is kept for a short time; the address itself is not stored.

Questions

Please use the contact details on the Contact page.

The Trust should confirm with its legal adviser that this policy meets all requirements that apply to it.
